REPORT: Worli, 1968. A repair shop stopped a generator check after a brass dial disappeared from the workbench. The customer is waiting for the repaired machine, but the foreman will not release it without a complete instrument check. The fitter, storekeeper, apprentice and driver are helping account for the workshop equipment. The repair card shows that the person carrying the Box spanner removed the brass dial after inspection ended and signed it out as scrap.
