A tailor’s 1979 alteration book lost one pencilled measurement.
REPORT: Tardeo, 1979. A tailor opened the alteration book and found a customer’s pencilled measurement erased. The garment is due for collection, and cutting to the wrong figure would ruin the fit. The shop has kept the book untouched while four people account for their work around the fittings. The customer has agreed to leave the garment in the shop while the staff investigate. A customer waiting for a fitting saw the person carrying the Tape measure rub the measurement out of the alteration book. Identify the person who carried the Tape measure and the place they visited.
