The Worli Workshop Dial
A repair workshop’s brass dial left the bench during a 1968 generator check.
REPORT: Worli, 1968 — A repair shop halted a generator check when a brass dial vanished from the bench. The fitter, storekeeper, apprentice and driver crossed the work bay, parts cage, tool wash and loading ramp with a spanner, oil can, dial gauge and job card. Each movement is marked in a practical hand. The desk adds one line for the record: the Dial gauge is the item under enquiry, and its keeper that evening owes the desk the first answer.
